Between the 12th and the 16th October 2018 Tychy was very crowded due to 6th Tychy Capoeira Festival. In this time the city was visited by many people from all over Poland. During those days numerous accompanying events took place.
Capoeira is an extremely spectacular Brazilian art of fighting and self defence system, which is characterized by rhythmical and dynamic dance combined with acrobatics. The fight is conducted along with the music, there are few static positions, but numerous kicks and undercuts. The movements of the fighters are very smooth and dancing, this is why it is said Capoeira is danced, not fought.
Capoeira has no age restrictions, it is suitable for children, youth, adults and whole families.
